How to Make the World’s Best Porridge
Learn how to make a bowl of porridge worth of The Golden Spurtle with chef Toby Wilson, director Constantine Costi, hosted by Mark Humphries. Each year, the world’s best porridge makers descend on the world championships in Scotland, competing for The Golden Spurtle. Fortunately, you can stay in Sydney to see the competition lovingly captured in the new documentary of the same name, and then learn from the Aussie representative in the film, Toby Wilson, at an illuminating and nourishing master class following the Australian premiere. What’s the best oats to use? Should we use milk or not? Which direction to stir the spurtle? All the big questions will be asked. He’ll also be joined by director of The Golden Spurtle Constantine Costi, to reveal insights from the film and the competition, and all hosted by host Mark Humphries thanks to ABC Radio Sydney.
